These top-notch golf courses are attracting a lot of attention from famous golfers around the country. Whether you’re just learning to golf and need a golfer-friendly course with lessons or you’re a seasoned golfer looking for a challenge, you can find the right club for you in Gainesville. Check out some of the region’s hot golf spots and find out which one will be hosting Tiger Woods in the very near future:

Robert Trent Jones Golf Club – This course is strictly for golf purists. You won’t find any tennis courts or pools here, just a serene setting for a truly relaxing golf game respectful of the game’s traditions. The 2015 Quicken Loans National Tournament will be held at this Gainesville course from July 27 to August 2, 2015. If you’re a Tiger Woods fan in the area, you’re in luck. Come see this legendary golfer in the midst of the beautiful landscaping of the luxury community, Lake Manassas.

Stonewall Golf Club – This 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Tom Jackson, is located in amenity-filled Lake Manassas. The course is known as one of the finest upscale, daily-fee public golf courses in Northern Virginia and features stunning views of the Bull Run Mountains and Lake Manassas. If you work up an appetite during your golf game, you can enjoy a meal at the highly-regarded Brass Cannon restaurant while you’re there.

Virginia Oaks Golf Course –This Gainesville course also features serene Lake Manassas as a backdrop, and the lake is even in play on some holes. The 18-hole course was designed by P.B. Dye and features Bent Grass tees, fairways and greens.  If you want a challenging and memorable golf experience, come spend the day at Virginia Oaks, featuring narrow fairways and well-bunkered, undulating greens.

Heritage Hunt Golf and Country Club – This private, 18-hole, championship course is surrounding by 750 acres of rolling hills and spectacular natural landscape. Arthur Hills, renowned architect, designed the course to give golfers a unique golf and dining retreat. This venue also hosts private events, so if you’re looking for a place to hold your next special event, check them out.

Prince William Golf Course – While not technically in Gainesville, Prince William Golf Course in nearby Nokesville is definitely worth mentioning. It has an interesting history, as it was built in the 1960’s by a group of farmers. It’s a golfer-friendly course which has been voted one of the most playable public courses in Northern Virginia. The course boasts a country atmosphere where you can escape the noise of traffic, with wide-open fairways in a beautiful setting.
